Make sure to choose a gentle cleanser for your face and avoid cream based face wash and soaps. It would be good if you will choose face wash that has been specially made for treating oily skin. For oily skin, you can also choose a gel based cleanser that must contain salicylic acid. You can also use a cleanser with tea tree oil. Make sure to use a known abrasive soap on your skin as these can rob your skin of its natural moisturizer.

2) Use Dry Blotting Papers

Blotting papers are efficient in absorbing excess oil from your skin and reduce oiliness from your skin. These tiny paper sheets will minimize the appearance of oil on face and can be used to feel fresh at any time of the day. Whenever you see oil on your skin just simply tap the blot papers on oily areas like chin, nose, and forehead to clean the oil from the face. These are very helpful especially when you cannot wash your face. But do not rub it on your face harshly as it can cause redness on your skin.  

3) Honey

Honey is the most natural ingredient that helps the skin to retain its moisture. Honey is a bundle of benefits when it comes to skin. For oily skin, French Green Clay or sea clay is most commonly used clay that detoxifies your skin and makes it appear smooth. 5) Oatmeal And Honey Mask

Make an oatmeal and honey DIY mask to combat oily skin. Oatmeal is a natural exfoliater that gently scrubs off the impurities from the dirty skin. Honey is good for retaining the moisture of skin and ideal for getting rid of oil from the skin. Take ½ cup of oatmeal and add some water to it to make a paste. Now add 1 table spoon of honey to it and mix it nicely. Once you have got good consistency apply the mask and let it rest for next 5 to 10 minutes. Wash well with lukewarm water and dry it with a hand towel. You can also mix oatmeal with papaya or yogurt and bananas and apply the paste.

6) Egg Whites And Lemon Face Mask

Make your pores tighten with the help of egg whites and lemon. Egg whites are best for skin tightening help to absorb excess oil from the skin. To make the paste extract lemon juice of one lemon and egg whites of 1 egg. After blending it nicely apply the mixture on your face and let it get dry completely. Rinse well with lukewarm water and pat dry.

7) Tomatoes

Tomatoes are the cooling agents for the skin hydrate the skin and unclog the pores. Tomatoes are rich with salicylic content that clarifies the skin naturally. Cut the tomato in the sliced and rub on the skin in a circular motion on your face. Wait for some time as your skin must soak the goodness of tomatoes. Once it gets dried, wash it off with cool water and pat dry. After that, you can apply oil free moisturizer. You can also mix one tomato with sugar and use it as a sin scrubber. It will remove the dead skin and your skin will glow naturally.
